Copper Brooch with Silver Stripe

Item #D1
Copper Brooch with Silver Stripe
This is a great rectangular brooch that I textured and hammered, after I sweat soldered a stripe of sterling silver and then rolled it to make it flush. I then soldered a pin back and added a stainless steel piano wire pin stem that has been filed to a point. Perfect for a suit or jacket, this measures 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" just a bit off to be interesting. View of Back View

Item #D2
Large Brass Coat Brooch
This is a great rectangular brooch that I hammered over a stake to achieve the slightly off center square pillow. I then hammered two opposite edges to create a right angle. I textured it, and then soldered a pin back and added a stainless steel piano wire pin stem that has been filed to a point. Perfect for a Winter coat or jacket, this measures 3" x 3 3/4". Copper Hammered Brooch with Half Domes

Item #D3
Copper Hammered Brooch with Half Domes
This 18 gauge copper brooch measures 2 1/8" from the top to the bottom, and 2" from side to side. It is a diamond shaped brooch, with hammered and piercing with four copper half domes soldered on the surface. On the back you will see four holes, one behind each of the domes. When closed objects are soldered on to a plate, there has to be an escape hole drilled or it the domes would explode. I have soldered a foldover piece to hold the pinstem, and soldered a tube on to the other side, then added the pinstem. I hand sharpened the end until it was sharp enough to attach to a jacket. DHT 43 is stamped on the back. I finished this brooch by filing and sanding to 1200 grit. View of Back View View View

Item #D4
Brass and Copper House Pin
This 18 gauge copper and brass brooch measures 1 1/2" x 3" with the roof extending out 3/4" either side of the house. I have sweat soldered the brass hammered roof on to the house to create two chimneys. The house shows a hammered circle for the opening. I soldered a simple safety catch on the back. The edges are sanded and smooth, and I have buffed it to a nice sheen. View of Back

Item #D5
Copper Hammered and Stamped Abstract Brooch
This was so much fun to make. Cut from 18gauge Copper, I stamped a small arrow design in one end and added small circles. I textured the back, and formed it to take on it's abstract flag type shape. I soldered on the pin backs and added a stainless steel piano wire pin stem that is filed on the end for a jacket or sweater. This measures 1 1/8" on the short end, 2 1/2" short end bottom, 2 1/2" other end, 3" across the top. View of Back View

Textured Brass and Copper Brooch

Item #D6
Textured Brass and Copper Brooch
This is a great heavy brass pin, suitable for coat or jacket, that is highly textured giving it a look of snowflakes. I've sweat soldered a 1" copper square at an angle for a more abstract look. The pin measures 2" x 2 1/8". A simple safety catch was soldered on the back. View of Back <
