Polar Fleece Mid-Weight Sheet for Travel-Custom
Made
This is a super polarfleece mid-weight sheet when
it's cold out, and you need to take the horses in the
trailer. The polarfleece wicks away any moisture
(horses create lots of heat in a closed trailer even
with the vents open). When travelling I add a withers
towel (from RL shop Happy Hen) and surcingle to
prevent the sheet from slipping. An adjustable butt
strap with swivel snaps attach to two 'D' rings on
either side of the back of the sheet and one or two
front closures with velcro, and a fleece withers
patch.
Please view all photos. Colors and patterns of
sheets are subject to availability. Java Java and
Highland Hurrah are shown with two different colors of
the same pattern, that of teddy bears. This has been a
popular seller. Another is the rusts and greens of an
American Indian design.
Model: Java Java, 23 yr. old American Warmblood
gelding, 16.2 hand chestnut. Model: Highland Hurrah, 4
yr. old NY bred TBX gelding, 16.1 hand dark brown.

Heavyweight Wool Tweed Dress Sheet
This is a heavyweight wool dress sheet I use in the
winter for taking the horses to the farrier or to a
show. It has an inside surcingle and a corded butt
strap to prevent the sheet slipping. There is a single
front closure with velcro underneath to prevent
opening. Note: This sheet is of heavy Harris
Houndstooth tweed, and is great for standing in the
trailer after a day of fox-hunting. This sheet is 10
years old, and before I found the 2" nylon
binding. All sheets have 2" nylon binding on
them.
Colors, and patterns of tweeds, plaids, and checks
are subject to availability.
Please view both photos.
Model: Java Java, 23 yr. old American Warmblood
gelding, 16.2 hand chestnut.

Winter Turnout Blanket with Tail Flap
This is a nice sturdy Winter turnout for your horse
in areas where wind and blowing snow is a big concern.
Harry shows his dark green Cordura coat, trimmed in
red. Inside is a double backed Supplex quilted liner.
Three belly straps with a contoured shape ensure
better coverage of the belly area, particularly
important for clipped horses or older horses. The neck
line comes up over the withers and gives more
coverage, and the shawl collar design allows for a
non-wearing fit for even horses with large bony
shoulders. I have used two snaps and one large 'D' to
close in the front with velcro inside, but this can be
changed to the standard straight across double
closure. I have found less stress and twisting with
the use of the solid brass fittings. A tail flap which
is lined, and leg straps are a necessity here in our
area. The tail flap has a loosly woven strip of trim
on the top where it attaches to the blanket, and the
regular poly trim is added to that. I have found in
repairing so many tail flaps, that horses do like to
play 'tail tug', and because there are so many thick
layers in an area that is subjected to ripping, this
was the solution. It is very windy all the time, and
leg straps insure that the blanket will not flip up
and over the horses head, causing a dangerous
situation.
Your choice of colors and trims. for the Cordura
and the Trim. I will either measure your horse to
insure a proper fit, or send you a fabric pattern to
mark, along with a printed pattern and instructions
for measuring your horse.
Model: Highalnd Hurrah, 7 yr. old TB Cross gelding,
16.1 hand dark bay.

Winter Dog Turnout
This is for a large dog, but I make them for medium
and small dogs as well. The outer layer is Cordura
1000denier, with a rubber backed Supplex cover to
repel water, double sided Supplex with poly fill
inside, a belly band, all trimmed in 2" Poly
binding. Measurement guides available for easy sizing.
2" Velcro on the belly band and the blanket are
used for the closure. Blanket fits over head. If your
dog has never worn a blanket, the first time you put
it on, they might lay down, because they are not used
to the belly band. I have made the band adjustable so
that they can get used to the feeling of something
around their middle. It usually takes about 15 min. or
less, and then they love them. Variety of colors
available. Email me for prices on smaller sizes. View View View View View View View
