Copper Hammered Textured Flower Cuff
This was so much fun to make. Starting with a 1 1/4" wide strip of copper, I sawed the shape I wanted, and textured it after annealing the metal. I then hammered it into a sandbag, and then on the anvil, curving the top end over so that it resembled a dragon when viewed from the side. I had drilled tiny holes all along the bottom edge, and when I had finished the bracelet with 1200 grit sandpaper and buffed it, I added vintage Czech glass flower components and leaves to the edge with gold filled wire. This cuff is spring formed, and will not lose its shape. Easy to put on and take off, it measures 2 1/2" inside width and 2 1/3" high with a turn over making the cuff stand up an additional 1" up and 1" curved over.

Copper Hammered Cuff with Silver Strip
This 2" wide copper cuff has been shaped to fit a small arm and has gently domed surfaces across the middle portion of the cuff.
The depth from front to the cuff ends measures 1 3/8" x 2 1/8"
at the one end, and 1 1/2" x 2 3/8" at the other. There is a small silver strip rolled into the plate diagonally, and the cuff is flared out at the one end. Lightly hammered and highly buffed, this is so much fun to wear, and certain to get rave rewiews.

Copper Hammered Wavy Cuff with Holes
Just a little over one inch wide, this hammered and textured cuff shows a wavy design that has been hammered into a wooden block with a chasing hammer. Holes have been punched into the cuff and the ends rolled back, allowing it to be worn with the roll backs on the top or bottom of your wrist. All surfaces have been filed and sanded to 1200 grit, and are nicely buffed and very smooth. The cuff measures 2 1/2" wide front to back, and 2 1/8" side to side. This cuff has been annealed, and can be squeezed to fit and opened without fear of breaking. An attention getter.

Vintage Spinach Bakelite Beads with Wooden Beads Necklace and Earrings
What a great set for St. Patrick's Day or just for the Spring. This is a necklace I made with some triangular shaped Spinach Bakelite beads in swirled green, with Corn yellow bakelite buttons, and vintage wooden beads for accents. Additionally, I have used small black onyx beads, and sterling silver squares, a linked Sterling chain, with a dangle of the corresponding beads.
The necklace measures 25" from the lobster clasp to the end of the dangle, so it can be adjusted to 17" with the balance left as a dangle. The earrings are 2" long, and hang from Sterling silver marked wires.
The bakelite has been tested by three methods, and it is bakelite. A great set to gift or to wear. Great look, at a great price

Vintage Bakelite Cameo Necklace-Celluloid Chain
This is a great find! I love bakelite and love celluloid chains, and to find both together is super. This carved black bakelite pendant measures 2 7/8" by 2 7/8". The pink oval tests also for bakelite and it measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8" wide and has a bevel cut around the perimeter. On the oval is a black frosted plastic or celluloid cameo of a woman with a draped gown and upswept hairdo. The chain is black celluloid and measures 26 1/2" long with and 3 links holding the pendant that measure 1" has no clasp, and easily goes over the head. From the 40's, I believe this could also be used as mourning jewelry.

Carol Dauplaise Crystal, MOP, and Prystal Necklace
Carol Dauplaise joined Haskell in 1959 and for about 20 years was one of the people who was in charge of the showroom. She was not on the design side at Haskell according to Mariam Haskell Jewelry by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff. She worked at Haskell as a bookkeeper and then started her own line of jewelry in the 1978 when she left Haskell, which is sold at Nordstroms among other department stores. This is an enchanting necklace of crystal beads, mother of pearl spacers, brass spacers, hexagonal pink MOP long beads, and rhinestone spacers, with pink prystal beads and from the center prystal ring, there is a drop of a large prystal teardrop like a chandelier stone. The clasp is called a slide clasp, witgh a patent number of 3,934,300 on one side and DAUPLAISE on the other. Haskell started using this clasp in 1975, and discontinued it in the 1980's. Dauplaise may have bought some unsigned left over stock, and had her patent number and name stamped on it. Regardless, this is a sweet necklace. As always FREE SHIPPING to the US.

Denise Convertible Brooch Necklace

Although I have been unsuccessful in finding out who Denise is, this is a great necklace. Unusual, in that you can wear the necklace with the clasp in back, or front, or pinned to your shirt or jacket, or just unclip the two sides and use it as a brooch. Signed Denise on a plaque on the back of the brooch, which is shaped like a leaf, it is adorned with black and white set in beads. Three of the beads have been replaced, because they are larger than the majority. The rest of the 8mm glass beads with brass spacers are fine. The necklace measures 19" on the short strand and 22" on the long one. The domed leaf clasp measures 2" x 1 1/4".

Ellen Designs Mexican Couple Dangle Earrings

These are such a great pair of earrings! A cast dome with lovely designs, with a dangling woman form from one, a man on the other. To this Ellen Jaffe Wagman added a little string and ceramic couple dressed in woven woolen clothing. These earrings are clip backed, and hold nicely. Ellen Designs signed on the clip back. Ellen Jaffe Wagman is the daughter of one of the original owners of The Fashioncraft Jewelry Co., Inc. founded by Robert Levy, David Jaffe and Irving Landsman. Vintage Harper Brooch/Pendant-Just Added!
This wonderful Harper brooch/pendant is an unusual design. The center section of the brooch shoes five open backed square stones surrounded by five small clear chatons with one in the middle resembling a flower. Offset on the right is a windmill style design of seven sections with clear baguettes on the top with randomly set prong set pink stones between 1/20th 12K gf framework.
The scan makes the stones look purple, but the second photo shows the
correct color - hard to capture on the scan.On the bottom of the flower is a bar with three articulated sections, two triangles with prongset pink baguettes and clear chatons, and a center section of four articulated clear baguettes. Vintage Sterling HUGE Purple Faceted Glass domed Flower Brooch-Just Added !
Measuring a whopping 4" tall by 2 3/8" wide, this fantastic Sterling three flower brooch has the appearance of an Arts and Crafts brooch from the 1930's. The 3 large amethyst domed cabochons are cut in a rose cut with the 6 triangles on the top coming to a point in the middle. The bottom is flat, and the shape is oval. Four prongs hold the stones in their settings. This brooch is quite substantial in weight, but beautifully crafted, with gently twisting leaves which make it appear that the Spring wind is blowing the flowers. There are no marks with the exception of the STERLING on a plaque on the back. The patina is soft and aged naturally. When the light is behind the stones, there is a marvelous gleam. The stones measure 3/4" by 1/2" wide by 3/8" deep.

Czech Blue Stone Shamrock Design Brooch
This wonderful brooch has a trombone type clasp. This was used from the end of the 19th Century through the 1940's in Europe. The back of the 2 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide brooch is as pretty as the front. On the front there is a 'field' of shamrocks, each with gorgeous little prong set rhinestones, with the center rhinestone prong set, and covered on the other edges by leaves of the shamrock. The stone is high quality, emerald shape, eight sided hand cut, and foiled. I love the color of these blue stones. On a tiny plaque on the back underneath the pin stem, it is marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA.

This is an early 1940's CORO in slanted script with sterling underneath on the back. This fabulous 3 1/4" tall by 2 1/4" wide brooch, is a wonderful example of the retro gold over sterling bow with a central formed leaf behind a banded flower with three single sprays with one amethyst marquise stone, one with 2 amethysts and one light green marquise stone, another 3 petal flower with two light blue and one red marquise stones. The center flower consists of a central 8mm yellow jonquil stone, , surrounded by 9 marquise stones in red green and blue, and 9 small clear chatons in between the marquise stones. Vintage Bogoff Aurora Borealis and Faux Pearl Shamrock Brooch
This is such a fantastic brooch. The color of the aurora The stones are bright and sparkly, and it's difficult to tell that the pearls aren't real. This fabulous brooch measures 2" diameter, and is designed with a series of eight smaller shamrocks, with pearl centers, surrounded by one large layered shamrock with a slightly larger pearl. Signed BOGOFF on the back. Bogoff began in 1946 and closed in 1970. They were located in Chicago, Illinois and used precious metal and gemstone techniques to convert designs and rhinestones into jewelry that could be worn in the highest circle of society, and yet was affordable for almost everyone. Vintage Van Dell Floral Spray Brooch with Aqua Stones
Here is a fabulous 4 3/4" tall by 2" wide Van Dell Sterling and Gold Filled brooch. Three petaled flowers are very realistic, with a collet set aqua stone in the center of each one. Gold shaded leaves are cut and formed, stems are bent wire with a spiral around the base of the stem. The back carrys the Van Dell plaque with Van Dell Sterling 1/20th 12K G.F. This is the early one and dates this fantastic example of Van Dell to around 1939-1943.
The pin catch is one that was used on early European jewelry and through

-Rio de Janeiro, in South America. These were popular in the 1930's, and this is in very good condition with no chips in the glass save the corner of one of the panel where there is a rough spot. This has not been cleaned, and finish shows appropriate patina for it's age.

Barclay Vintage Acorn Demi
Signed Barclay in script on the fold-over clasp and the earrings, this wonderful necklace and earrings are a great example of early Barclay jewelry. The double rope chain is lovely, and attached clasp and has a nice link of similar acorn elements. The five panels at the bottom of the choker are attached by substantial links, and the acorn shaped pieces are backed with the same nice gauge metal showing holes because these pieces are soldered together. The central double acorn link has a smaller acorn hanging from it. Each of the links measure 3/4" wide by 1" long, and the dangle center measures 2". The necklace measures 15 1/2" long, and each of the clip backed earrings measure 1" by 3/4" matching the panels on the necklace. Early Barclay sets were sold at up-scale department stores. Many have rhinestones, but this is perfectly tailored and just perfect for a business suit or dinner out. Barclay Jewelry Inc. was a Providence, RI firm dating back to the lat 1940's and into the 1950's. The showroom was on 5th Ave. in NYC and catered to business women of modest means. It was manufactured by Rice Weiner and featured anitqued gold finish to their jewelry. This is in superb condition.

Vintage Sterling HUGE Purple Faceted Glass domed Flower Brooch-Just Added !
Measuring a whopping 4" tall by 2 3/8" wide, this fantastic Sterling three flower brooch has the appearance of an Arts and Crafts brooch from the 1930's. The 3 large amethyst domed cabochons are cut in a rose cut with the 6 triangles on the top coming to a point in the middle. The bottom is flat, and the shape is oval. Four prongs hold the stones in their settings. This brooch is quite substantial in weight, but beautifully crafted, with gently twisting leaves which make it appear that the Spring wind is blowing the flowers. There are no marks with the exception of the STERLING on a plaque on the back. The patina is soft and aged naturally. When the light is behind the stones, there is a marvelous gleam. The stones measure 3/4" by 1/2" wide by 3/8" deep.

Mexican Astrological & Crushed Turquoise Set
This is a stunning set, based on astrological signs, A necklace which has seven panels of crushed turquoise around brass inlaid astrological signs which measure 1 1/4" x 7/8". There are three 1/4" x 1 3/8" panels on each side, all affixed with soldered links, and a slip through clasp on the end. One panel has Sterling Mexico, the other has Hecho en Mexico, D.F., and 925 with R. S. in the center of the circle. The earrings are similar in size to the large necklace panels, 1 1/8" by 3/4" and are screw backs. Marks on the earrings are identical to that on the necklace. The bracelet is 6 panels of the same size as the necklace, and construction is the same. There is one panel on the end of the clasp, that has loss of crushed turquoise in the corner. This can be repaired. The bracelet measures 8" so that panel could be eliminated and the clasp end added to the remaining end panel. Marks on the bracelet are the same on necklace and earrings. Price reflects the loss of turquoise in bracelet panel. Natural patina left on, but I will be happy to buff it for you if you wish.

This is a wonderful buckle, Mexican Sterling with a center medallion with a wonderful hand stamped design, and eight 'rays' giving it the appearance of the sun. Abalone is inlaid into the background with a

Think Summer! These three bangles measure 2 5/8" inside diameter.
The orange-ade and pink marbleized bangle measure 5/8" wide and
3/8" thick. The hot pink measures 3/4" wide and 1/4"
thick. The orange-ade one has swirled oranges in a layered pattern, and
reminds me of a popsicle! The inside of the orange one is a matte
colored orange with the swirled part on the outside. The marbleized pink
compliments it beautifully, and the hot pink pulls it all together.
There are some form spots on the inside of the hot pink one, and two
fine scratches where I think someone must have tried to test it. These
do NOT test positive for bakelite and are a heavy lucite plastic

Ground Turquoise Tulip Designed Mexican Earrings
These 1 1/4" x 3/4" wide screw back Sterling Earrings in a tulip design are filled with ground turquoise. One earring shows a small place in the center that is missing the turquoise, but the base still shows the color. I have purposely not repaired this, because for the price, you will still have a lovely pair of Sterling earrings. The mark on the back shows 'AR' in a tight circle with Hecho en Mexico 925 in a very clear stylized type. The other earring has MEXICO on the pad below the screw back. Other than the loss of the small area of turquoise, these earrings are in beautiful condition.

Sterling and Copper Linked Bracelet marked J.S.E.
This is such a neat Sterling and Copper bracelet. Eight oval panels with half domes of copper attached with soldered links on each side and a 'U' shaped clasp and a
receiving hoop on the other end. The bracelet is formed by folding the silver 'hills' on the front, soldering the half dome of copper, and then soldering it on a sterling base. Taxco 925 on the 'U' shaped end of the clasp, and on one of the backs of the panels, 925 J. S. E. Hecho en Mexico. While researching this mark, it appears that this is missing the Eagle 1 mark, which may not have made the stamp on the base. (Page 107 of Billie Hougart's book on Mexican Silver, and the Taxco information on page 88 of the same book). This bracelet measures 6 7/8" long and 1" wide. I have not cleaned or buffed this bracelet and it has it's original patina.

Mexican Sterling Domed Flower Ball Bracelet and Ring
Cute set and very nicely made. The six link bracelet shows a domed 1/2 ball covered with flowers, and showing two half extenders on either side which are linked by a small bar with one flower on the top. The clasp hooks into the other end. The bracelet measures 1/2" wide and 8" long and 3/8" deep for the dome. The ring is a size 8 but can be made smaller or larger by squeezing the two sides. The dome is 3/4" diameter and 1/2" high. All domes show the rope feature around the base. aThe ring has Mexican Sterling and the initials LN. The bracelet mark seems to be: IGUALA 925 Mexico and the initials LCV with the eagle mark 2. Natural patina left on, but I will be happy to buff it for you if you wish.

This four panel Sterling bracelet with three part spring hinges, shows the
fabulous handcrafted workmanship in this jewelry. Each panel has been painstakingly cut out by hand with a jewelers saw, and then hand stamped to give a design of leaves. Abalone shell is then pieced into the two outside wings of the leaves. Various interpretations can be made of this design. I think it could be leaves, or fishes,or a lyre. The push in clasp is very secure. Hecho en Mexico is stamped on the push in part of the clasp. The bracelet measures 1" wide by 7" long. Each panel is slightly domed to fit your wrist perfectly. I have filed and sanded to 1200 grit so that it is smooth and very comfortable to wear. The inside dimensions are 2" x 2 1/8" tall and the top of the turquoise stone is 4" from the base of the cuff. This will fit nicely on a 7"-8" wrist and should be a bit loose. It is spring hardened, so you can squeeze it closed without fear of breaking it. Definitely a show stopper.

Such Glitz this necklace has! It's unsigned but of obvious quality. The double strand necklace measures 16" and has chain of prong set aqua blue chatons. The blue glass navettes are set horizontally along the top row, with two round pearlescent moonstones measuring 1/2" diameter. The navettes measure 5/8" x 1/4". The drop has the blue glass navettes, with three large 3/4" x 1/2" teardrops of faux baroque pearl stones. There are two 8mm aurora borealis stones prong set in between the three tear drops. Red Multistrand Plastic Necklace with Large Red Plastic Cherries
What a fun piece this is~! I checked it with Simichrome to see if the cherries were bakelite, but only got a faint yellow/grey color, so I'm saying no to bakelite, and looking at the drilled hole, they are plastic. They have a distinct noise when shaken, but not the clunk I associate with bakelite. This is an early 40's piece in my opinion, and uses the plastic covered string and brass bits on the ends, with a plastic toggle and ring closure. The necklace measures 16" long with four celluloid bands to hold the ends and half way down the strands. There are seven 'cherries', which measure 5/8" diameter, with the strings knotted singly at the end.

Stuart Nye Sterling Leaf Brooch
Consistent with the quality of Stuart Nye, this beautiful vintage Sterling leaf brooch measures 3 1/8" long by 7/8" wide. The safety catch which is soldered on the back is at an angle, which gives some interest to the positioning of the leaf on your clothing. The edges are hammered, and the leaf is fold formed over a wooden mould and hand stamped. NYE in a clover mark with Sterling is stamped on the back. Lovely patina left on. Nye jewelry was started in 1933 in Ashville NC, and continues to be made today, each piece being hand made in his studio. Stuart Nye died in 1962.

This gigantic Brooch and Pendant is shown in Fred Razazzadeh's book on page 112. It is a 3 1/4" diameter brooch with glass stones made to look like agates and carnelians. The brooch has a stand up 'hat' appearance with a massive topaz foil back stone measuring 1 1/4" diameter. All stones are prong set and look authentic. Miracle was popular in the 1960's and made Scottish themed jewelry. This would look fabulous on a Fall or Winter Coat, but equally great on a heavy chain.

Early David Andersen Basse-Tailled Earrings
These are such sweet little earrings. Marked with a scales, Norway, and Sterling. This was the marked used after 1939 and before the D-A mark used later. This date to the 1940's. They are basse-taille, a process of enameling ground glass fluxed into the metal with heat. These earrings have the typical style of flowers, with concentric marks. Flowers and flowing lines were the style of this period. The backs of the screw back earring, is marked 835 a European mark for Silver. They measure just 3/4" long, and the blue flower measures 1/2" diameter.

Unusual Iskin Flower Basket Convertible Pin
This is a very unusual pin depicting a basket of flowers in crystals and aqua RS in a silvertone setting, which comes apart and makes 3 tiny pins. The pin as shown in the main photograph measures 1 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" wide. When the pins are taken off the little attachment, which is marked with a corresponding 1, 2, 3. The little pins each measure a little over an inch wide. There is the basket itself, and then 2 pins of the flowers. It is marked Iskin and Pat. Pend on a plaque on the basket which is number 3. The stones are foiled and open backed.

FENICHEL Aurora Borealis Necklace
This is a gorgeous necklace with beautiful 12mm aurora borealis stones, prong set in ruffled cups. Between each of the large AB stones there are 10mm jonquil stones, then 8mm lavender stones, and 8mm light blue sapphire stones. The extender has lavender stones and on the end is a large 12mm aurora borealis stone. The other end has a hook clasp, signed with two small lavender chatons. The necklace measures 16" long.
Not much is known about Fenichel. It's an ongoing work in progress. There are certain attributes, which we have found on the unsigned: Use of round dentelle stones, prong set with multiple prongs in ruffled cups, foldover or push in clasp, use of aurora borealis, givre stones, Swarovski

Another great necklace from that little known company Fenichel. This is quite unusual to find one with these large deep emerald green domed cabs. They measure 1/2" diameter, and are spaced between round chatons in faceted dark green emerald and teal aurora borealis stones. These are all prong set, without foil backs, and the deepness of the color is extraordinary! The necklace measures 17 1/2" long with the extension measuring within that- 4 1/2" long, so it is adjustable up to 17 1/2". There is a large cab at the end of the extension. The back of the clasp shows the stamp of Fenichel.

Early Harry Iskin Retro Flower Brooch
This beautiful 1/20th 12 K gold filled Retro brooch shows the I over H in a circle mark. This is the early 1920's mark. This stunning brooch is 4" long by 2 1/2" wide, and employs the use of rose gold over silver backing on the petals, with gold filled inner flower with an amethyst colored rhinestone. The smaller flower to the left is detailed the same way. The three wire swirls atop the flower each have an amethyst rhinestone at the end of the swirl, and the leaf is sculptured beautifully. The stems are gathered by a double circle of gold wire. This is a stunningly beautiful brooch, and would be a superb addition to your Retro jewelry collection.

Stainless Steel Articulated Linked Bracelet
Reminiscent of the 40's and 50's, this retro style Stainless bracelet is a joy to
wear. Made from cold formed solid stainless steel, the links are drilled and set
with 'pins' inside. Each link has two drilled holes with a
rod fit through. The center strand has two holes drilled straight
through, and then the outside links are placed over the rod extending
from the center link and hammered carefully. The clasp on the end of this 7" bracelet is carved out to fit
beautifully over the open pin on the opposite end. This style was very popular
during the 30's through the 50's, and has that 'Machine Made' look to it,
similar to the European chrome jewelry made. The bracelet is 7/8" wide
and 1/4" thick, and in very good condition.

Multi-Chain Torsade Necklace with Pearls and Flowered Clasp
This is an unmarked necklace, but beautifully done and with a huge flowered push in clasp. There are 21 strands, three on each section. Three of the strands are 1/2" flat rectangular pieces with 10mm glass pearl beads. The rest of the chains are linked, and fall beautifully around the neck. The 1 1/2" diameter is a dome shape measuring 1/2" deep, and covered with lovely little flowers and leaves. The torsade measures 16" long from the shortest chain to 22" to the longest. Although no signed, this is beautifully made and in super condition.

Vintage 1930's Handpainted Flower and Rhinestone Bracelet
This is such a pretty example of late 1930's costume jewelry. The bracelet has four large links of hand painted 6 petal flowers with two extensions, a lovely rhinestone in the middle with rhinestones off each side and green navettes in a gold wash plated setting. The four smaller sections are oval with two rhinestones with swirls. These are connected by seven small connections having 3 rhinestones each. These are soldered on the back, except for one which has a tiny space showing. This does not affect the integrity of the bracelet. The clasp is a dome shaped fold over clasp with three rhinestones. The bracelet shows a bit of wear on the finish on the back, and in a few places on the front, very tiny. Remarkable for a bracelet that is over 60 years old. The bracelet measures 7 inches long and 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick.

Measuring 2 1/4" long and 1" tall, this very detailed brooch of brass, shows a jockey, wind blowing his red silks, urging his trotting horse on to victory. An inner wheel of 5 clear crystals with a green rhinestone in the center cover the sulky wheel. This looks a happy horse and jockey, and the painted bits are in very good condition. The back shows a soldered three part pin back with safety catch, showing great detail.

Victorian French Jet Mourning Bracelet
This is a beautiful example of Victorian French Jet, which is pressed black glass. Real Jet was so popular during Queen Victoria's mourning period, that it became scarce and mines were closed. This led to the imitation of black glass to mimic the real jet. French Jet was produced in the US from 1893 by the Libbey Glass Company in Ohio. It is heavier and was used mainly for beads and small items. This bracelet has 13 oval shaped faceted double drilled on the side beads, with two smaller rectangular beads on either side of the 1" square bead. Double black elastic threaded through. This measures 6" inside circumference, 8" outside, making it approximately 7" while relaxed. I have a 6 1/2" wrist and it fits beautifully. The oval shaped beads are 1" long by 3/8" wide. Mourning jewelry reached its height of popularity in England after the death of Prince Albert in December 1861. Queen Victoria went into deep mourning, which was imitated by her subjects when faced with
losing those close to them.

This is an interesting brooch I made out of copper. I've textured and rolled it, leaving one side scalloped. I soldered a pin back and added a stainless steel piano wire pin stem that has been filed to a point. Quite light, and appropriate for jacket, dress or suit, this measures 2" x 2 1/2".

Definitely over the top, this Sterling Collar has been textured and formed into a neck collar, 1 1/2" wide and 12" long, I have drilled tiny holes into this collar and hand wired Vintage Swarovski crystals, gemstones like real pearls, freshwater pearls, garnets, 14K gold beads, amethysts and Margaritas on to the front sides of the collar. There are two 1/2" diameter holes punched out on the fronts, and you can attach a 6" strand of rock crystals with 14 gauge sterling wire 'T's, on either end. Wear it with the extension or on its own. Fantastic look that is utterly unique and spectacular.
